Hello! I'm so glad you are here!
I write middle grade contemporary fiction about growing up – the joy and the pain of it all – and celebrate the supportive power of friendship and family during tough times for kids.
This is my author website where I will share updates on the writing and publishing processes, as well as occasional musings and tidbits that fall out of my brain and onto my keyboard. Check out my Blog and Gallery to see what I am up to.
If you would like a peek into my first novel titled, A Bit About Vivian, please make sure you have a PDF reader on your device and click on the box below to read a sample of the first three chapters (Buster wants me to announce his cameo entrance in chapter three).

“Buster!”

Thank goodness for friends, especially these days. Vivian Hopewell is lucky enough to have three of them – Mia, Lucy and Katie. In A Bit About Vivian, the GirlZ take us on a heartwarming adventure of life in a fifth grade year where they have to deal with hybrid school schedules, annoying boys and grumpy siblings. And that’s just life on the outside – everyone has to deal with that. But we often have to take on life’s biggest challenges when nobody else is looking, and that’s when we need our friends the most.
